The story:
Relaxing with Honey after the conclusion to the Cragsend case ,
Rip cannot shake off a feeling of unease that a long-standing client
suddenly has broken off contact after many years of continuous work.
As the client is a mother who craves regular updates of the daughter
she once gave up to her dead husband’s parents, Rip decides to visit the
school in which the child is residing - and be confronted with a number
of baffling surprises...
