The brief details of the story ( credit IP comic):

RK019 The Disappearance of Bijou Benson
Original run in papers: 24 Sep 1951 - 26 Jan 1952

The story:
Filing his report about the sinister goings-on at ‘Utopia’  with ‘The Daily Sphere’, Rip is hired by the paper to solve the disappearance without trace of the newspaper’s star photographer whilst on holiday. With the trail going cold in Cannes, Rip’s only viable clue is the undeveloped film in the photographer’s camera which suggests that the detective should further his enquiries to the remote and forbidding Sudanese desert....

Is there any chances we could have the
classic Rip Kirby's strips of yours?
Am I too late to come by this blog at this hour?
All the links are long dead.
So sad.
