Thanks for #194E!

By the way, in my city this season temperature is varying between minus 15 to minus 35 since December. Earlier generally we had -2 to -7C. Lowest (-38C), I faced in 2005-2006. But this temp was for a week only, not more than month. Lowest record of this city is -42C (Dec 1978).

Is still cold their? :))

It's like living in refrigerator. But there is one plus also, look younger than my age group friends who are living in India.

Ha ha ha ...

Look younger, now you start to envy me, Prabhat :( :)

I experienced the minimum of -10 C when I was at Minnesota, near to Canada... that was the worst, which I don't want to experience again ever :)

@Rafiq Raja: I guess, at least 9-12 years I'm elder than you. :)

Up to minus 10C, we say very hot today. :)

People who are living just 1000-1500 km northern than me, say up to minus 30~35, today hot. :))

Below -25C it's difficult to start a car/jeep if we don't start every 4-5 hours. Without a vehicle in such windy winter, local residents or habituated person like me (almost half life spent here), can hardly stay in street more than 15-30 minutes at a stretch. However in Bazaar (Bazaar also used here, however Russian word for it RINOK) - under open sky, the shopkeepers stay from morning to evening. :)))

Here is another side of coin: From `-38 to +40 temperature variation are not good for health. I mean within few hours variation upto 20C several times a year, create lot of problem to healthy person also.

About look, just kidding. Don’t take seriously; otherwise many will decide to go to the north or South Pole. ;)

Once, my one Russian driver asked me in the period Russian recession (1998). How I look younger than others? He was of my age, but looked much elder. Replied, because lived in refrigerator for 6 years (90-96). We all laughed for long in that bad period. There is similar time for the world. :)

@Parishi: I lived in Delhi from July 1996 to Feb 1998. Know how uncomfortable such temperature could be. Reason: the houses are made for summer and dresses people use for above +10C. Delhi is not protected by hills, so the temperature change in Rajasthan & Himalayas directly affects Delhi and surrounding area, it really creates discomfort.

Here inside home always +21 ~ +25C. Whenever we go outside, always wear proper winter cloth for such temperature. Only our face is open. Only girls & women wrap muffler around face.

Always wonder why Delhi was chosen as capital starting from ancient period by mostly rulers. I don't see any advantage - geographical position from point of security, the climate, water, crops. May be God has blessed this land to be the center of power.
